this summer seems to be flying by... and just about everything else is moving at a snail's pace. i should just be thankful that it's going, i guess. even if patience has never been one of my strong points.
my little one seems oblivious to the stress here, and is growing up so quickly. this little girl has the best sense of humor, and a booming cackle. it's difficult not to laugh yourself when you hear her cackling about something. she has me in awe constantly, and she's great for reminding me of what is important in all of this, as well as what is not.
we're doing what we can to get things going, as well as we can. it is slow, but it does appear to be happening at least. i know this will work, if we can just make it through this particular part. gods know it isn't easy. but, every day is a new day. and, i do hope that some day, life won't seem quite so hard.
i can hope, can't i?
